We have consistently generated superior production results applying our completions expertise to maximize production and economic recovery. The founders of Liberty are recognized as global experts in hydraulic fracturing technologies, and the Liberty team has used its technological edge together with strict financial discipline to achieve outsized economic returns for its investors.

From 2010-2013, in Liberty Resources LLC (LRI), the company acquired approximately 43,000 net acres in the Bakken formation of Williams and McKenzie counties in North Dakota through transacting thirteen separate land acquisitions. The company drilled 35 operated wells and completed 86 wells with their unique slickwater fracturing technology, generating the highest per well productivity in the Central Basin area of the Williston Basin and growing production from zero to over 6,000 BOE/day before selling to a much larger publicly traded company.
From 2014-2024, the management team operated under Liberty Resources II, LLC with three operating companies: Liberty Resources Bakken Development, Liberty Resources Powder River Basin and Liberty Midstream Solutions. In the Bakken, the company acquired ~85,000 net acres, drilled and completed 120 wells while growing gross production to over 20,000 boepd. From 2015-2018, in the Powder River Basin, the company acquired ~19,000 net acres, drilled 3 modern unconventional wells and sold the asset to a private equity fund. And in Liberty Midstream Solutions the company built a 90-mile water and gas gathering system connected to a 30 MMscfd gas processing facility and four water disposal facilities capable of handling 60,000 bwpd. The company sold all the Bakken assets of Liberty Resources II and the Liberty Midstream Solutions company in March, 2024; completing a transition services agreement to the acquirer at the end of the year.
Liberty Resources II still operates the Glass Bluff Madison Unit – a 25,000 acre conventional waterflood field near Williston, ND and is in the process of finalizing a sale of this asset.
In 2025, Liberty Resources III, LLC was founded to continue the company’s development of unconventional reservoirs with a focus on supplying the increased natural gas needs of LNG facilities being built on the Gulf Coast and the increased natural gas fired electricity demands from AI and data centers.
