President & Chief Executive Officer
C. Mark Pearson is a co-founder, and the President & CEO of the Company. Dr. Pearson has over 35 years industry experience and has been President/CEO of three independent E&P companies, and President/CEO of a NYSE-listed oilfield services company.
Mark is a well-known industry expert in the field of well completion and stimulation and has authored or co-authored over 35 technical papers covering field development, drilling, completion and stimulation, and production aspects of oil and gas operations.
He has focused his career on technology advancements within the industry and is one of the pioneers of multi-stage hydraulic fracturing of horizontal wells. In 2005, Mark was named a Distinguished Member of the International Society of Petroleum Engineers and in 2012/3 he was a Distinguished Lecturer presenting around the world on the topic of hydraulic fracturing of horizontal wells.
Mark graduated with Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) and PhD degrees from the Camborne School of Mines, UK and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program. He also served as a professor in the Petroleum Engineering Department of the Colorado School of Mines from 1995-1997.
Mark is a director of LSE-listed Ruspetro (a Russian oil and gas production company), Proptester (one of the industry’s leading proppant & fluids testing laboratories), Liberty Oilfield Services, Liberty Resources, the Camborne School of Mines Trust (USA) and the Pearson Family Charitable Foundation.
Bill Krysiak

Bill Krysiak is the Chief Financial Officer of Liberty Resources and joined the Company in January 2015. He has over 30 years of oil and gas experience and is responsible for all administrative, financial and accounting areas of the Company.
Bill has extensive experience in the upstream, midstream and downstream segments of the industry and has served as Chief Financial Officer of both public and private companies including Southwest Generation LLC, Aspect Energy LLC and Western Gas Resources, Inc.
During his career, Bill has lead or participated in numerous acquisitions, divestitures and financings including the sale of Western Gas Resources to Anadarko Petroleum for total proceeds of over $5.3 billion. He also served on the Board of Directors of Kodiak Oil & Gas Corporation and chaired their Audit Committee from 2010 until the sale of that Company in 2014.
Bill received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Chris Wright is CEO of Liberty Energy, a leading North American oilfield services company, and Executive Chairman of Liberty Resources, a Bakken-focused E&P company with unique expertise in well completion and stimulation technologies.
He has had a lifelong passion for energy and its role in human life. He has spoken on energy to the UK House of Lords, the States Attorneys General, Federal and State Judges, debated the merits of the shale revolution on TV and given over 100 talks.
Chris completed an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at MIT and graduate work in Electrical Engineering at both UC Berkeley and MIT.
Chris founded Pinnacle Technologies and from 1992 - 2006 years served as CEO. Pinnacle created the hydraulic fracture mapping industry by developing and commercializing tiltmeter and microseismic fracture mapping. Pinnacle's innovations in fracturing practices helped launch commercial shale gas production in the late 1990’s
Chris was Chairman of Stroud Energy, an early shale gas producer, prior to its sale to Range Resources in 2006. Chris is a director of TAS (industrial energy technology company), Kerogen Exploration, Liberty Oilfield Services, and Liberty Resources.
Chris has consulted and taught courses on all six inhabited continents and authored / co-authored over 60 technical papers and articles. He has received numerous industry awards and several U.S. patents. Chris also worked on fusion energy, solar energy, and geothermal energy.
Chris grew up in Colorado and is a passionate skier, cyclist, climber, and outdoor enthusiast. Â He serves on the board of numerous non-profits including PERC, ACE Colorado, ACE Montana, Colorado Academy, PRI, and the YCCF.

Duane D. Fadness joined Liberty Resources in 2010 as the Vice President of Land. Duane has over thirty years of experience in the oil & gas industry.
He was principally responsible for assembling Liberty’s original 43,000 acre land position in the North Dakota Bakken formation as well as the company’s subsequent acreage acquisition in North Dakota and Wyoming.
Duane is a long standing member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), the Denver Association of Petroleum Landmen (DAPL), and the Landman’s Association of North Dakota (LAND), having served as Secretary as well as Co-Chair of the Education Committee of the DAPL.
He currently serves as a Director to both the AAPL and the DAPL. Duane has extensive experience negotiating drilling deals, asset acquisitions, and land trades in the Western United States and Canada. Duane’s prior management experience includes Land Manager of the Powder River Basin for Western Gas Resources, Inc. and Vice President of Land for Golden Energy LLC.
Duane holds a Master of Business Administration Degree (MBA) from the University of Denver and is a Certified Professional Landman (CPL).
Larry Griffin

Larry Griffin joined Liberty Resources in 2011 as the Vice President of Operations. Larry is responsible for all Completion and Production Operations. He has over 30 years of both E&P and oilfield service company experience across a wide geographical range.
Larry started his career with ARCO working in West Texas and Alaska. He joined Pinnacle in 1998 and as the Vice President of Reservoir Diagnostics was instrumental in the development and commercialization of fracture and reservoir diagnostics (microseismic, tilt, and fiber-optics) including the pioneering applications of microseismic in the Barnett Shale.
Following this he joined Newfield Exploration as Completions Manager for the Arkoma and Anadarko Basins. Larry holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University and is the author of a number of Society of Petroleum Engineering publications.
Ken Tompkins

Ken Tompkins joined Liberty Resources in 2011 as the Vice President of Geosciences. Ken is responsible for geological and geophysical technical support for Liberty’s operations, as well as developing new play concepts for future drilling projects for Liberty.
He has 37 years of E&P experience in the Rocky Mountain basins, Mid Continent and West Texas. He has generated and developed both oil and gas resource plays for over 18 years, and has been actively drilling long lateral, horizontal wells in oil projects over the last 8 years.
Prior to joining Liberty, Ken was the Sr. Geological Advisor for Samson Resources. In this position he provided geological oversight and quality control to all of Samson’s Rocky Mt. exploration and development projects in the Williston, Powder River, Green River, Big Horn and San Juan Basins.
He was also instrumental in generating a large oil resource play in the Middle Bakken and Three Forks Formations in the Williston Basin containing over 150 MMBO recoverable reserves.
Ken holds a M.A. in Geology from Binghamton University and a B.A. in Geology from State University College of New York.
Richard A. Bradsby II

President of Liberty Midstream Solutions
Richard Bradsby joined the company March 2015 Richard has 25 years of experience in the oil & gas industry in the Rocky Mountains, Midcontinent, Permian, Appalachia and Gulf Coast and is responsible for all midstream infrastructure and marketing.
Prior to joining Liberty, Richard was vice president of the Permian business unit for DCP Midstream LLC. He was responsible for leading the overall strategy and performance of the business unit. Previously, Richard was vice president of the Midcontinent business unit, which has operations in southern Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle.
Richard held several other senior leadership positions at DCP including corporate and business development. He also held management roles at Bear Paw Energy (TransMontaigne) and began his career with Snyder Oil.
Richard has a bachelor’s degree from Western State Colorado University and a master’s degree in finance from the University of Colorado Denver.
